With three years of blood, sweat, and beers poured into the creation of the All-Day Adventure Flask, our team was thrilled to find out that we had received the 2021 iF Design Award. Hibear’s versatile, insulated, easy-to-clean, and rugged utility bottle is designed to craft all your favorite beverages – from cold brew to cocktails – yet simple enough to use as an everyday water bottle.The AF won in the product design category. Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF Design Award.
The All-Day Adventure Flask won over the 98-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, with its pour over and cocktail shaking abilities. The competition was fierce: almost 10,000 entries were submitted from 52 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.
Founder of Hibear, Mark Tsigounis, is an Appalachian Trail thru-hiker, two-time Ironman, ultrarunner, and USN Veteran. Tsigounis says, “I got my first insulated bottle in Africa, but it was while backpacking in South America where I thought, ‘damn this thing would be way cooler if it did more.’ The All-Day Adventure Flask is the culmination of those adventures and my contribution back to the community that gave me so much. Receiving the Red Dot Award was the validation that we had successfully built something freaking awesome.”
Insulated bottles are an essential part of outdoor adventure. Durable and efficient workhorses for keeping hots hot and colds cold, they fall short when it comes to crafting beverages on the road.
