Hibear's Zombie Elixir

The costumes can be questionable. The drink plan can be sorted. Hibear’s Zombie Elixir brings rum, apricot brandy and a little tropical mischief to a Halloween gathering. This updates the presentation of the recipe originally published in October 2023.
Ingredients
- 1 oz light rum.
- 1 oz dark rum.
- 1 oz apricot brandy.
- 1 oz lime juice.
- ½ oz grenadine.
- A splash of pineapple juice.
- Ice.
- A cherry and a slice of pineapple for garnish.
Make the Zombie Elixir
- Start with clean Flask components and follow the product’s cocktail-assembly instructions.
- Measure the rum, brandy, lime juice and grenadine into the Flask. Add the pineapple juice.
- Add ice, then securely assemble the cold-cocktail setup.
- Shake, pour into a serving cup or sleeve, and garnish with cherry and pineapple.
The recipe uses a splash of pineapple juice. If you are making drinks for a group, prepare separate batches and check your serving supplies before the gathering.
Before the gathering
Organize the ingredients, have enough cups ready and make room for water and a nonalcoholic option. A little preparation gives the host more time to enjoy the occasion.
Clean and dry the Flask and components after the gathering using the product’s care instructions.
