Adventure for All: Your New Side Gig
If the outdoors feels like home to you, then congrats—you’ve just landed a new side gig: trail host. No paycheck, no punch clock. Just one responsibility—make everyone else feel welcome.
The mountains don’t care if you’re rocking fresh boots or duct-taped sandals. The trail is for everyone. And the more people who step into wild places and feel that sense of belonging, the more positively contagious the world becomes.
That’s the beauty of it: empowerment spreads. When you realize you can summit that peak, nail that river crossing, or even just brew a killer cup of tea by the campfire—you wear it on your sleeve. And then, whether you mean to or not, you show it to others. That’s how we keep the stoke alive: by passing it on.
So next time you’re out there, think about who’s not yet here. Invite them. Encourage them. Hell, hand them a s’more and high five. Because adventure doesn’t shrink when we share it—it multiplies.
